Volunteers at Reach enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities by engaging in meaningful interaction and forming positive relationships with Reach clients. Whether you’re playing a board game, doing an art project, or reading a story, volunteers are an essential part of what makes Reach a fun place to be. Individual volunteers as well as groups are welcomed and encouraged to share their time and talents with us.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Assisting in a classroom at the Learning Activity Center
- Assisting with clerical duties at our business office
- Planning or assisting with special events
- Adopting a group home (take a meal or visit with residents each month)
- Sharing a talent or teaching a class (music, exercise, etc.)
Volunteers must fill out an application, attend an orientation, and pass a background check prior to volunteering. Service learning opportunities and court appointed hours are also available on a case by case basis. Contact Volunteer Coordinator, Lora Clack at 281-213-8323 ext. 307 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and prior to filling out the application. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your inquiry to be answered.
